Love this place , we grew up in this area ,reminds me of the good old times. Wabash burger is awesome !!!
There is a 2 Wabash and a pizza deal available daily. Four people will probably set you back $30 to $40 with a decent tip but IMHO the food is worth the price. It is my preference when I make it into town.
I just went in to get takeout. The waitress was nice, not pushy, gave enough time to look through the menu, but not so much time that I was waiting forever. The food came out pretty quickly and from what I'm eating right now it's really good. I'd be happy to bring friends or family here if they're visiting because it wasn't overly loud for being a bar and it was a welcoming environment.
I recommend a mug or pitcher of 1919 root beer to wash your meal down.
Alcoholic beverages are available but it isn't a bar that also serves food but rather the other way around. So you needn't worry about barflies and sloppy drunk patrons.

It's a restaurant first and foremost. It mainly is known for the Wabash, a double burger with a crisped bun, rather mild sharp cheddar, a pad of butter, ketchup, pickle, onion (the works) and brown mustard upon request.
I ordered delivery and it came pretty quick but the food was not amazing. I got a tossed salad and the salad had tons of brown pieces and it was so shredded i had to eat it with a spoon. Then i got the wabash and fries. I unwrapped the burger and there was a piece of hair in the foil it comes in! I can assure you it wasnt mine it was too short and brown. Not to mention the wrapper was so messy i couldn't open it without getting ketchup or cheese on my hands. Losing my appetite from finding that hair in the wrapper i went to just eat the fries and they were squishy, stuck together and flavorless. Would've expected better but sadly was disappointed.
The pizza is not traditional, i.e. handtossed or pan style. It is a bar style, thinner crust, cut into squares (but nothing like a frozen pizza).
There are 2 tv's with a game usually on both. You can eat at the bar, in a booth or at a table.
